Dock workers national strike notice

***From the Customer Service (SAC) of the Port of Barcelona, ​​they inform us that the following Trade Union organizations: Coordinadora Estatal de Trabajadores del Mar (“La Coordinadora”); el Sindicato Marítimo Portuario de la Federación Estatal de Servicios, Movilidad y Consumo de la Unión General de Trabajadores (FeSMC-UGT); Comisiones Obreras (CC.OO.) and la Confederación Intersindical Galega (CIG), have issued a dock workers PRE-NOTICE STRIKE at a national level for the week of 25-30 November.

In the event of the strike:

• The strike will begin on November 25, for 24 hours, starting at 8:00 a.m. on the same day and ending at 8:00 a.m. on November 26, 2019.
• And, from November 26, 2019 at 8:00 a.m., the strike will be held until 8:00 a.m. on November 30, 2019, through the modality of one hour of strike and one hour of work, exercising the right to strike during the following hours: from 9 to 10; from 11 to 12; from 13 to 14; from 15 to 16; from 17 to 18; from 19 to 20; from 21 to 22; from 23 to 24; from 01 to 02; from 03 to 04; from 05 to 06; from 07 to 08.

In case of being effective, the Port Police will manage at any time during the strike, when necessary, access to the terminals of the Port of Barcelona.***
